Grand Theft Auto 1 and 2 Rated for Release on PS3, Vita and PSP

May 1, 2013 by Stephen Daly

Will likely be included in PSone classics collection.

The folks over on NeoGAF have discovered ERSB ratings for the first and second Grand Theft Auto titles for PlayStation 3, PSP and PS Vita.

Grand Theft Auto 1 was given a mature rating by the ERSB while GTA 2 handed a teen rating. It seems likely that the games will be released as digital downloads as part of the PS Store's PSone Classics collection. It's also possible that they'll be included as part of whatever collector's editions Rockstar announce for Grand Theft Auto 5, which is set to be released on September 17th.

While Rockstar or publisher Take Two have not yet officially announced any plans to re-release the games on Sony's platforms they have been re-issuing past titles on several systems recently.

Hopefully, Grand Theft Auto London will be included as part of the re-release.

Yesterday Rockstar released trailers for GTA 5's protagonists. The ESRB listings are below.
