Thunder Wolves seems to have it all: secretive organisations that may or may not be funded by governments, elite military forces blowing the bad guys up, enough explosions to make a Michael Bay film, and scores. Sweet, beautiful, wonderful, number-filled scores. The best bit? You can do it with a friend in local co-op! I feel like I'm back in school.
Although the official site mentions something about a seemingly heroic bunch of helicopter pilots defending humanity from the lurking evil of terrorists, it seems more likely that the only plot most gamers will be worrying about is the plot of land they just reduced to a smoldering crater as they rack up those points and try not to die to that big bad boss.
Touting a fully destructible environment, Thunder Wolves looks to be a modern reincarnation of the old school arcade blasters. It seems a lot of the older interpretations of genres are making a come back with a 90s style arcade racer also on its way. In the mean time, feed your nostalgia with the trailer below!
