Dragon’s Crown Looks As Pretty As Always

April 6, 2013 by Matt Hawkins

A shame about the lack of cross play, though.

After hearing virtually nothing about Vanillaware's latest and greatest for a long stetch of time, we're now being somewhat flooded (in relative terms) with info pertaining to Dragon's Crown.

For those who haven't heard, Atlus will be bringing over the game to America, as expected/hoped. It will retail for $49.99 on the PlayStation 3 and $39.99 on the PlayStation Vita.

Unfortunately, the game will not support cross play, just cross save capabilities. What does that mean in plain English? You'll have to buy both versions separately I'm afraid.

Though the game is so pretty that some might actually double dip. The following is a brand new trailer that was just revealed in Japan; this one centers on the knight in shining armor and is most straightforward, uninterrupted look at gameplay yet:

An exact release date for Dragon's Crown is still a mystery, but at least we have "summer 2013" to go by.
