The Destiny 2 player base seems to be drastically dropping and Bungie is doing what they can to keep players sticking to their MMO shooter – the most recent set of news being that Destiny 2 is getting hidden quests like in Destiny 1.
A fan asked game director Christopher Barret on Twitter whether or not Destiny 2 would be getting quests like black spindle or outbreak prime, to which Barret positively responded.

Unlike the regular missions and adventures that you run into in the game, Hidden Quests were extra missions that you would have to do a little bit of searching to begin. Once you finished the quest you would get high-level loot for your character.
Humanity’s last safe city has fallen. The brutal commander of the Red Legion, Ghaul, has led an overwhelming force to victory, stripping the city’s Guardians of their power.
As one of the remaining survivors, you must venture to mysterious, unexplored worlds of our solar system to discover an arsenal of weapons and devastating new combat abilities. It’s up to you to lead the fightback, Guardian.
Building on the phenomenal success of 2014’s critically-lauded Destiny, Bungie returns with a brand-new adventure and worlds and areas to explore in the ongoing war between the Traveller’s chosen Guardians – mankind – and the relentless forces of The Darkness.
Destiny 2 is available now on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
