A trademark for Tomb Raider: Reflections has been filed by Square Enix Europe in the US Siliconera reports.
While this may seem to suggest single player DLC is in the works for Lara Croft's reboot Tomb Raider's global brand director Karl Stewart recently commented "there are currently no plans in place for any single player expansions.
"All of our DLC is based around the multiplayer experience for now," Stewart said in a Reddit AMA.
"For now" does leave room for Square Enix to release single player DLC at some point in the future and in a recent interview the game's creative director, Noah Hughes, revealed that he believes there's still more they can do with Lara saying "we love the idea of supporting a community beyond launch in whatever ways make sense."
It's possible Reflections is a spin-off or movie based around the game but for now there's no clear information on what this trademark might be for.
Earlier this week the game's first multiplayer DLC, the Caves and Cliffs Multiplayer Map Pack, arrived as a timed exclusive on Xbox 360. Yesterday the game's writer, Rihanna Pratchett, spoke about developing Lara's character and the scrutiny placed on Lara as a female character.
Tomb Raider has been a massive success for Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics, selling one million copies in just 48 hours.
