Sony and Quantic Dream have both gotten around to talking about the studio's next game, Beyond: Two Souls.
Coinciding with their decision to lift the covers off the game, which has remained quietly in development since its announcement at last year's E3, the publisher has released a brand new video containing eight minutes of in-game footage.
The video footage shows Ellen Page's character as a young girl as she learns to control and coax Aiden, her spirit familiar, into performing simple tasks like moving objects and scaring scientists. At one point, Aiden even manages to take possession of a scientist. Willem Defoe is briefly seen in the footage.

In a related interview, the studio's co-founder Guillaum de Fondaumiere says that they "categorically refused" to feature Ellen Page wielding a gun on the cover of Beyond.
Beyond: Two Souls is set for release this October on the PlayStation 3.
