A new trailer has surfaced online from NetherRealm Studios, announcing the addition of Blackest Night DLC for the new DC fighting game Injustice: Gods Among Us.
Anybody familiar with the comics and the popular storyline can already guess what this pack is going to entail. Spoilers, it's zombies.
The DLC features alternative zombie skins for each of the characters, and a zombie mode.
This story was released back in 2009, and featured many of DC's superheroes and villains being killed and resurrected as zombies by the Black Lanterns, the death-obsessed equivalent of the Green Lanterns. This is probably just an excuse by the game to have a zombie mode (because every game needs a zombie mode) but it makes sense knowing the story.
Blackest Night also created different versions of your favorite characters, so alternative character move sets are not out of the question.
For now, the DLC is only available through Amazon's German section as a preorder exclusive.
With the amount of content that is already being released for Injustice: Gods Among Us, you would think the game was already released, but it is not available until April 16 in North America, and April 19 in Europe.
