Killzone 2 And Killzone 3 Shut Down Multiplayer Servers 2018

Looks like you’ll have to get your last bit of Killzone multiplayer action out of your system in the next few months, developer Guerrilla Games has officially announced in a blog post that multiplayer servers for both Killzone 2 and Killzone 3 will be shutting down on March 29th, 2018.

Essentially this means that those looking to snag the multiplayer trophies will have the next couple of months to do it before the servers shut down. That being said, single player trophies will still be accessible to achieve. Guerrilla Games expressed their gratitude for their games’ community and stated that it is the players’ enthusiasm that helped them grow as a studio.

That being said, Killzone Shadow Fall will still operate as normal so you’ll still get a form of Killzone action in the latest iteration.

2018 is going to be an exciting year for Guerilla Games – I wonder what else the studio behind the successful Horizon Zero Dawn has for fans. Thoughts? Let us know in the comments below.

In other news, Sony Interactive Entertainment America President and CEO Shawn Layde have multiple roadmaps planned for Horizon Zero Dawn in the years to come.

‘No one can deny Horizon Zero Dawn is one of the most beautiful and amazing games we received this year, and luckily for us, Sony plans to continue working with Guerilla Games on the Horizon franchise for years to come.’
