Naughty Dog’s adventure shooter franchise, Uncharted has just hit a significant milestone. Thanks to the remastered collection, Uncharted 4 and the most recently released Uncharted The Lost Legacy, the series has sold over 36 million units at retail, according to VGChartz. That would mean around 4.1 million of the sales were digital.
To divulge deeper into the statistics, Uncharted 4: A Thieves End sold just below 10 million copies, Uncharted: Drake’s Deception sold 6.79 million copies and Uncharted: A Thieves End sold just below Drakes Deception at 6.71 million copies.
Uncharted The Lost Legacy sit at the lowest sales, selling only 1.19 million copies.
Congratulations to the team at Naughty Dog for snagging such a significant achievement. Hopefully, the series will be continued in the coming years.
In other news, we’ve recently done a video on what we thought made Naughty Dog’s The Last of Us such a brilliant title, check it out here.
‘When Naughty Dog unveiled The Last of Us, it was pretty apparent that the developers were set to launch something truly spectacular. The video game was an instant hit for its narrative and gameplay. When our journey with Joel and Ellie finally came to an end, most of us were left anxious for a sequel.’
