Wyrmstooth is a fan-made modification for Skyrim that has finally made its way to the web after much anticipation.
This full fledged mod adds an all new area for the player to explore upon reaching level 10, and opens up the large island of Wyrmstooth, where you will find yourself embroiled in an epic quest to stop a dragon from ravaging the traderoutes of Skyrim. It sounds simple enough, but not all is as it seems, as there may be something far more evil at work here—one even more dire than a dragon.
Some of the new features—aside from the obvious—in Wyrmstooth include, but are not limited to: three new followers, a new dungeon, new puzzles, 30 new NPCs, over 150 lines of recorded voice acting, a new player home, bear traps, new spells and even new load screens.
There is a lot to be had in Wyrmstooth, and the best part about it all? It’s absolutely free and available for download at any time. You don’t need any of the previous DLC titles that are currently out for Skyrim to use the mod, either. It’s essentially an independent entity within the game.
Any decision to explore and delve deeper into the world of Skyrim is an easy choice for most people, as the game won a huge majority of awards for both Game of the Year and RPG of the Year in 2011.
The mod's creators have put out a call for aspiring voice actors to lend their talents to Wyrmstooth, which they plan to expand beyond its current iteration. The developers have asked for players to keep a weather eye on their Twitter feed for future updates to this offer.
