Hoping to capitalize on the holiday rush when it comes to purchasing a Switch? We have some bad news for you, Nintendo’s Reggie Fils-Aime during an interview with Washington Post has confirmed that there will not be any exclusive Switch discounts this holiday season.
“We are not discounting the Switch…. We’re focusing on making sure we have robust supply at retail,” Fils-Aime said.
It sucks that Nintendo won’t be running any deals – but it makes sense. The console has been performing extremely well since launch, discounts aren’t really a necessary marketing strategy at this stage.
That being said, if you are looking at picking up one of Nintendo’s hybrid consoles you can always browse the classifieds and find a second-hand console.
In other Nintendo news, the sandbox RPG title, Portal Knights has been announced to release on the Switch.
