No official price has been announced. However, SCE WWS boss Shuhei Yoshida has said that it will not come out at $599. They don't want a repeat of the PS3 price announcement at E3. He has said, “From the very beginning of the project — since 2008 — pricing was one of the considerations that we had. Hopefully when we announce the price, people will see the proper value.”
Andrew House has said the pricing of the machine will be "affordable."
So it's not $599, but that doesn't exclude $598. Ok I'm bein cynical and I think we can be reasonably assured that it wont be more and significantly less. So…$499?
