To promote the much-anticipated new DLC for Assassin's Creed III, Ubisoft announced today that it will be offering exclusive content for Ghost Recon Online players that will bring your avatars back to the American Revolution.
According to a press release, Ubisoft states that players will be able to equip their characters with Assassin's Creed-specific items, including five new Recon class apparel items including the Assassin's Creed hood, and six new weapons.
Players will have access to these items in the in-game shop. They can be purchased with Requisition Points or Ghost Coins. Bundles are also available which can save players up to 15 percent off.
Ubisoft is doing this promotion in celebration of the release of The Tyranny of King Washington: The Infamy, which will be available on February 19 as the first in a three-part DLC series. The extra story follows an alternative universe where the protagonist Connor has to try and dethrone George Washington, who has become the king of America. It takes place after the events of the main storyline, in which you become trained in the ways of the assassin in order to stop the Templars from taking over America. Who knows what this new DLC contains, but clearly despite your best efforts, you have failed.
The items will be available until Thursday until March 1, by which time you hopefully will have already succeeded in destroying the monarchy in Assassin's Creed III.
