Black Ops 2: Peacekeeper SMG Guide

February 8, 2013 by Alex Co

Want to know how to use the Peacekeeper SMG effectively in Black Ops 2? Here’s a video to teach you the ropes.

If you're a fan of Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, chances are you've already downloaded the game's first-map pack…that is if you play on the Xbox 360.

Simply titled "Revolution," there's nothing really that revolutionary about the DLC itself except for one thing — and that's the addition of the first-ever weapon DLC, the Peackeeper SMG. While Treyarch's David Vonderhaar and other staff has already talked about the gun, they've mostly done so from a design perspective.

But what if you're one of the many who has downloaded the expansion and can't seem to grasp the new gun? Fortunately for you, we have you covered. In the video below by YouTube user XboxAhoy, he gives us tips on how to use the Peacekeeper effectively and even how many shots the gun needs to kill an enemy.

Just from the video, you can plainly see that the Peacekeeper has more range than your standard Vector, MSMC or other SMG. While that might sound a little too overpowered, Treyarch balances this by giving the Peacekeeper a lower damage stat overall. Even so, it's fire rate, coupled with its high wall penetration damage really makes this as an Assault/SMG hybrid; which is something I know a ton of people really want.

For those not interested or don't see a need for a "tips" video, XboxAhoy also goes in-depth regarding the gun's stats and they're certainly worth a look especially for SMG users.

Have you tried the Peacekeeper SMG? If so, what are your thoughts on it? Is it a little too overpowered or just right?
