With Monster Hunter: World announcement earlier this year, Xbox One and PC fans were happy to hear that the open-world RPG will be coming to consoles other than PlayStation for the first time.
That being said, those playing on PC or Xbox One won’t be able to have an early look at the title – the Beta will be exclusive to PS4.
The beta beginning on December 9 will exclude both PC and Xbox players. Xbox players will have to wait until the release on January 26 to play, and PC players until sometime in 2018.
Monster Hunter’s legacy can be traced back to 2004 when the original game launched for PlayStation 2. Since then, multiple titles have been released, including the recent Monster Hunter Generations and Monster Hunter XX, which will be coming to Nintendo Switch this year (at least in Japan).
