It’s no secret that the worldwide phenomenon, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds will be making an appearance on the Xbox One, but considering the game released on early access on Steam, we weren’t really sure if there would or wouldn’t be physical sales for the title.
Now it seems that we will, in fact, be receiving a tangible copy of the popular battle-royale shooter. Confirmed via Twitter when PUBG launches on Xbox One later this year, players will have the option of physical discs rather than digital – if you prefer to have a game collection you can actually see and touch.

In other PUBG news, we may see PUBG Corp implement Xbox One and PC cross-play at some stage.
‘Considering the trend of cross-play utility with games like Rocket Leauge and Minecraft, it would make sense that one of the biggest games of 2017 follows with the same idea. In a recent interview with Shacknews, PUBG’s creator, Brendan “PlayerUnknown” stated that cross-play between PC and Xbox One would be something that the team would like to see implemented at some stage.’
