Bandai Namco’s seventh installment in the iconic fighting series, Tekken, has just hit a major milestone. The 3D Fighting title has just hit 2.1 million sold copies worldwide.
It’s a pretty impressive statistics, especially considering Namco expected 2.1 million copies of the game to be sold worldwide by the end of its financial year, which is on March 31 next year. Basically, this means that the title has to hit just 100,00 extra sales by the end of the 4 month period – something the game is well on it’s way to doing.
The 2 million sales mark means that Tekken 7 is the best selling fighting game ever, beating Street Fighter 5, by 300,000 copies.
