Polyphony Digital’s Limited Demo of the upcoming Gran Turismo Sport went live yesterday, offering players a brief experience of the upcoming racing title.
‘The GT Sport Limited Time demo offers an in-depth look at some of the new innovative features, geared to define the future of motorsports for all levels of drivers, from first timers to 20 year veterans of the franchise. You drive and tune on your own terms, while the new matchmaking system ensures you’re always racing against others of similar abilities.’
While we know that players have access to Arcade, Sport and Campaign Modes along with a host of other content, PSVR, unfortunately, isn’t available on the Demo. This is likely due to the fact that PSVR functions more as an addition to the title offering players the opportunity to race under specific conditions in PSVR, and not in the game’s entirety.
‘Want a new perspective on GT? Grab your PS VR and get ready to experience Gran Turismo Sport in the most immersive way possible. VR gameplay is featured within the game’s Arcade Mode. Here you’ll be able to go head to head (1:1) against another AI opponent in more than 135 cars on 27 new and classic tracks that will take you from the Japanese metropolis to the American countryside.’
Gran Turismo Sport launches October 17th on PS4 exclusively.
