Bungie’s Destiny 2 has had an incredibly smooth launch, the beta ironed out the many of the issues gamers were faced with the sequel, servers have been pushed to their limits and so have the consoles – which is good because the team is already reaping the rewards of their hard efforts.
Bungie announced yesterday that The Sci-fi shooter has officially passed 1.2 million concurrent players across the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One yesterday. This is an incredible feat, skyrocketing Destiny 2 to the ranks of other popular titles such as Steam’s PUBG or DOTA 2. It’s been a while since a game has launched so smoothly, let’s hope that the team can keep hold of that impressive statistic.
In other Destiny 2 news, we’ve set up a guide as to how to get the Sparrow mount, be sure to check it out, here.
‘In Destiny 2, Sparrows aren’t so easy to earn. In the original, your Guardian earned a fast-travel Sparrow, making it infinitely easier to travel around the game’s expansive environments. That all changes in Destiny 2 — everyone won’t get a free Sparrow. In fact, your early mount is entirely luck-based.’
