With Call of Duty's mobile site leak basically confirming Black Ops 2's Revolution map pack's existence and validity, now Amazon is getting in on the act too.
The retailer's UK site has listed descriptions for each item Revolution offers, which you can see below.
-
Hydro–This large map allows you to use the dam and water to your advantage to block paths and stop enemies.
-
Downhill–A medium-sized map based in the French Alps complete with snow, chair lifts, and a strategically placed lodge.
-
Grind–Set within the locale of the Venice, California boardwalk, this small skate park map is sure to deliver fast and frenetic Call of Duty action.
-
Mirage–This Gobi Desert multiplayer map utilises sand dunes to provide different levels of elevation and a sanctuary in the centre as a natural chokepoint.
-
Zombies – Die Rise–The Zombie apocalypse has invaded China, turning down town into a dilapidated and dangerous MC Escher painting.
-
Peacekeeper SMG–This impressive sub-machine gun fills the open weapon slot in your load-out with power and accuracy.
Here's the Amazon UK screenshot of the leak (as of now, the page has been pulled).
Same with the details we shared before, Revolution will hit first on Xbox 360 on January 29, while I assume it will be out on PC and on the PS3 a month after, It will cost 1,200 Microsoft Points, or $15 in real-world currency.
Based on the descriptions, Revolution will continue Black Ops 2's focus on close-quarter maps; with Mirage sounding to be the only exception. Of course, we can't say for certain until we play it ourselves. I'm just honestly hoping the Peacekeeper SMG is not overpowered at all. I mean, if it is, I assume Treyarch can patch it, but what would non-DLC buyers feel then?
Anyone up for Revolution or will you be waiting for the other map packs first? Speaking of which, what maps do you in Black Ops 2 will Revolution feel like?
