The Humble Indie Bundle 7, a delightful pack of pay-what-you-want games that raises millions of dollars for charity with its every inception, had itself a good haul this time around! Offering a total of six titles including The Binding of Isaac with Wrath of the Lamb DLC, Closure, Shank 2, Snapshot, HIB 7 also included Indie Game: The Movie. Those who paid more than the average donation were initially also treated to Legend of Grimrock and Dungeon Defenders (plus its DLC), with later participants also netting Cave Story+, The Basement Collection, and Offspring Fling.
Today the Humble folks have revealed the success of the latest bundle, the second most successful in its history. On the average, $6.69 was spent per person for the HIB 7, for a total of 395,940 purchases culminating in $2,650,514.09 of sales. And while it was not the most popular Humble Indie Bundle (that goes to HIB 5), it did put their total contributions to charity at over $9 million, a number they should easily pass in the coming year. To be the first to know when they release their next bundle, keep an eye on the official HIB Twitter feed.
