Want Some Xbox Achievements? There’s An App For That.

December 24, 2012 by Matt Hawkins

Yes, you can increase your gamer score on the iPhone as well.

Wordament is a recent release for iOS that has been getting lots of buzz. And not just because it's an highly addictive and infinitely playable word forming game that you previously had to be a Windows Phone 7 or Windows Phone 8 owner to enjoy.

No, it's because it's an iOS game that also doles out Xbox Achievements, which is a first. One can get upwards of 50 points to help build up that gamer score. And the best part is that Wordament is a totally free app.

Though many who are absolutely obsessed with nabbing as many Xbox Achievements as possible would no doubt pay a reasonable fee for the privilege of being able to do so, while not being shackled to their 360 like usual.

And in case you were wondering: no, Wordament does not include support for Apple's own GameCenter. Though let's be honest: does anyone truly cares about that virtual leader board? Not really.
