We might be Earthlings, but that hasn’t stopped us from experiencing copious amounts of Mars mania. First it was biker mice, and now, it’s bunnies in virtual reality. Hangry Bunnies From Mars is the upcoming VR shooter from Studio229 that’s all about exterminating hangry hordes of alien invaders.
Developer Lenny Gordon started out Hangry Bunnies From Mars as a solo project to learn Unreal Engine, but the crazy, addictive gameplay caught the eye of Studio229, and the rest was history. Now a full-fledged casual shooter, Hangry Bunnies arms players with a range of unlockable weapons to blast their opponents with, and dares you to survive as long as possible. You play as a rabbit exterminator who gets cloned every time they die, and thanks to a dynamic difficulty adjuster, you can have a blast whether you’re a VR newbie or a seasoned pro.
Hangry Bunnies From Mars launches this August 23 through Steam for $14.99 USD. The initial release uses the HTC Vive with Oculus Touch support expected in the near future.
