Square Enix’s Final Fantasy XV will be receiving another Closed Beta testing period following server issues and other problems hampering the quality of the first beta.
Square Enix announced the news, stating another “closed online test” for the DLC on August 11th and 13th and this will coincide with an update that will “improve matchmaking.
The DLC update, Comrades has been met with much anticipation since its addition of a multiplayer co-op component to the game. While the beta will be limited in scope, the full version will introduce new weapons, attacks, sigils and quests.
The Beta will be open to those on PS4 and Xbox One. In order to access players will need to have PlayStation Plus, Xbox Live Gold or the Season Pass (which retails for $25).

“Final Fantasy XV received a number of single-player expansions since its release, but a few lucky ones will get invited to try out the upcoming multiplayer expansion.
The announcement came through the Final Fantasy XV official website, detailing the closed beta’s running times, requirements and content available for players to try out. The closed beta runs from August 3rd to August 8th. Players will get to try out a number of different weapons, including a katana, daggers and shuriken weapons. “
