Just a few days ago, we reported that a few players were getting unjust probation warnings in Black Ops 2's multiplayer. Regardless if the host migrates, the connection drops or some other reason, players are getting hit with a probation and with it, the two-minute waiting time to find games.
Well, Treyarch has now issued an update and wants players to "keep calm and frag on." Here's the complete message the studio tweeted:
A live update has been released addressing Probation and security-related issues. Keep calm and frag on.
Previously, being ousted from a game due to host migration would count as a "strike" towards your probation period. Supposedly, this update fixes that little niggle, which should work out that strikes for probation will only accumulate if you leave a match pre-maturely (or in other words, rage-quit).
On to lighter Call of Duty news, Xbox 360 Black Ops 2 Season Pass holders now have access to Nuketown Zombies. So for those who like Black Ops 2's Nuketown maps and its zombie mode, this is the perfect combo for you. For PS3 and PC users, there's no date on when you'll gain access to this piece of content. But if previous Call of Duty DLC releases are anything to go by, expect it on your platform a month after the Xbox 360 version's release.
Is anyone experiencing more of these weird and unjust probation warnings or has Treyarch fixed them? If so, what do they need to fix immediately next?
Thanks, MP1st
