THQ has released another one of the on-going survivor stories for Metro: Last Light, which aim to capture the lives of individuals affected by the apocalyptic event that befell Moscow. The series of videos show how fortunes can change with the times.

The latest chapter covers the life of the Commander, a former military man who led armies and commanded respect. Fallen from grace, the Commander is now treated no better than a common dog. The video depicts how he had to make a grave sacrifice by "closing the doors" of the Metro to refugees to preserve the lives of everyone else within it.
"In my glorious past, I led armies and commanded respect. Now, the same men call me dog, traitor, murderer …"
Originally titled Metro 2034, Metro: Last Light is set for release in March for the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3. It's set after the events of the first game and has the books' author Dmitry Glukovsky working hand in hand with the game's developers this time around.
