The Humble Bundle has always been a project reserved solely for smaller, indie developers, but a few larger developers have since embraced it with gusto and delivered quality games at a “name-your-own-price” offer.
Most recently, the developers at Double Fine (better known as the makers of Psychonauts) ran what they call the Amnesia Fortnight, a two-week long event that allowed gamers to contribute however much they wanted to Double Fine for the promise of being able to vote on game prototypes for the studio’s next titles, in addition to being able to play alpha versions of those games.
Today, major publishing house THQ took to the website to launch its very own Humble THQ Bundle containing seven triple A titles from the publisher. The games include Darksiders, Metro 2033, Red Faction Armageddon, Company of Heroes, COH: Opposing Fronts, and COH: Tales of Valor. Prices that beat the minimum average will entitle players to a copy of Saints Row The Third.
Paying more than a dollar for the whole package will provide you with Steam keys for each game.
Beyond that, the deal even entitles buyers to the DRM-free soundtracks of all the aforementioned games.
There’s no reason you shouldn’t get it, so head on over to HumbleBundle.com.
