Etrian Odyssey IV Release Dated for North America, Includes Limited Edition Items

November 23, 2012 by Ian Miles Cheong

There’s much to look forward to in this one.

Etrian Odyssey IV

Etrian Odyssey IV: Legends of the Titan has been dated for a North American release and is set to include an art book and a music CD as a gift for retail buyers.

Set for a February 26, 2013 release, those who preorder the game will be treated to a limited edition art book, which showcases imagery from the game, and a new illustration done by Alexandra Douglass, best known for her work on Netrunner and Cloud Factor.

Meanwhile, the music CD, dubbed "Rough Drafts & Outtakes" gives listeners access to the development process behind the game's soundtrack by Yuzo Koshiro, containing early arrangements of the music in the game. Moreover, the CD also includes music that did not make it into the final playlist.

"Fans of the Etrian Odyssey franchise will not want to miss out on this one-of-a-kind collectible for Etrian Odyssey IV," said Tim Pivnicny, Vice President of Sales & Marketing, ATLUS. "The game's bonus items in Japan were extremely popular, and we're excited to bring this unique art book with updated imagery and stunning CD soundtrack to those who get their hands on this title at retail launch next year."

The game will also be available as a digital download on the Nintendo eShop.
