Months of speculation can finally be put to rest. Bethesda has released a special The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim trailer during its keynote presentation at E3, and it’s officially headed for Nintendo’s latest hybrid console, the Nintendo Switch. Of course, Director Todd Howard had already revealed that Skyrim would be coming to the Switch in February of this year, despite his uncertainty about how it would be received. At one point, it wasn’t known which version of the Elder Scrolls games players would be getting, but given Nintendo’s Switch reveal trailer it only makes sense that Skyrim is indeed the chosen one.

As for why the E3 trailer was special, it showed off some pretty cool Joy-Con motion functionality, as well as Amiibo support that will let players enjoy a touch of Zelda in The Elder Scrolls. Using the Link Amiibo will unlock special exclusive in-game items that ultimately allow a hybrid gaming experience on a hybrid console.
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim will also support Xbox Scorpio, which has now been unveiled as the Xbox One X.
