Microsoft’s Press Conference Will Run Longer Than Usual; More Games to be Showcased

June 8, 2017 by Jordan Biazzo

E3 is so close!

Head of Xbox, Phi Spencer, took to Twitter today to announce that the Xbox / Microsoft E3 press conference will run longer than usual.

Usually the runtime for a press conference is 90 minutes, however, due to the Xbox Scorpio reveal and other surprise announcements, the show will be slightly longer.

Xbox briefing Sunday will likely run longer than our traditional 90 mins. For those recording just a heads up. #XboxE3

No details on how much longer, but expect to see more from the show as Phil then follows up the tweet by saying “had some games that just didn’t want to leave out to hit the time so made a call to just run a little long.”

Check out the official tweet down below:

Yea, had some games that just didn't want to leave out to hit the time so made a call to just run a little long.

We expect to finally see a price point and release date for Xbox Scorpio, new games announced for the console and some surprises that will catch everyone off guard.
