While Black Ops 1 had "gold" camo for weapons to show awesome you are, it's taken up a notch in Black Ops 2 with some actual "bling, bling."
Digital Warfare 24/7 forum user "PsychoticDust" was one — if not the — first people in the world to "max" out all the shotguns in Black Ops 2's multiplayer and he's rewarded not with a gold camo…but a diamond one instead. Yep, you read that right; now you can literally say that he has "bling" on his weapon.
Give the footage a watch below.
Not bad, no? Of course, if there's one thing Call of Duty's multiplayer is good at, it's enticing players with enough unlocks to make them play for a very long time. If I'm interpreting this correctly, does this mean maxing the level of each gun type will net you the diamond camo? Say, maxing out all the Assault Rifles, Submachine guns, etc. I'm guessing it's either that or you need to get the gold camos for each gun type first? If so, that's quite a feat by PsychoticDust, no?
Unfortunately, this good news is marred by the fact that while Nuketown 2025's playlist is now available again after being yanked yesterday, it's only available in the Chaos Moshpit game mode. This, in turn, has not gone over well with fans — and understandably, too.
In any case, try to forget your Nuketown worries for a moment and see if you can unlock diamond camos for your preferred weapon in Black Ops 2. What do you think of Treyarch's inclusion of it so far? Is it a nice reward or would it have been better if they spent their time on making some of the game's multiplayer run more smoothly first?
