IO Interactive's Hitman: Absolution's release is but a few days away and that means one thing, it's launch trailer is now ready to greet potential buyers.
Hitman: Absolution immediately tries to sway you by showing the notably high reviews it has received so far from various publications. Good thing that even with the blurbs, the trailer manages to show a a few moments of awesomeness, too. From firefights, stealthily executing someone with a throwing dagger, and even stabbing someone in the face with a samurai, it's all here.
So, if you're the squeamish type, or you're not used to wanton violence, you might want to brace yourselves for a bit before hitting "play."
If I'm not mistaken, Hitman: Absolution will be the first game in the franchise wherein you'll be able to make Agent 47 wear a dress. While the game has no demo due out, potential buyers might want to know that you can finish the game in seven to eight hours if you go in guns blazing. But for Hitman fans that will take their time in order to do it "properly," they can expect the game to last much longer — at least this is what Absolution art director Robert Marchesi has said so far.
Will this be Agent 47's grand comeback or will the franchise still play second-fiddle to Ubisoft's other assassin? We'll know for sure once the game hits on November 20.
