Earlier today a new image surfaced the internet via Reddit that had a lot of people questioning the existence of Ubisoft’s unannounced Assassin’s Creed title.
The image, that you can see down below, shows off what seems to be the rumored Assassin’s Creed: Origins. The title is said to be a prequel and will take players back to the fifth dynasty of Egypt (according to Eurogamer). Check out the image for yourself down below:
Yesterday we reported on the leaks WWG has reported, and one major feature that was detailed was that naval combat would be making a return. If that is true, the image clearly shows off some early gameplay of some boating.
Origins is said to focus on exploration, allowing players to not only be restricted to Egypt but to explore with naval boats and can go as far as Greece. A big emphasis of Origins gameplay is exploration, so if this was true it would make sense for players to explore different areas, landmarks, and countries.
However, with E3 2017 around the corner, there should be more news about the game – including a full reveal at the show. Are you excited for Assassin’s Creed to return this year? Let us know in the comments below!
