The PlayStation Store released in Europe a few weeks ago, but there were still some bugs to work out. After cancelling the original October 23rd release date, Sony has finally pushed the update out to all of North America and Brazil. And it is very cool.
The old design (in my opinion) looked old and outdated even when it came out, but this store is an high definition, attractive yet simple experience. I recently downloaded the update myself and was surprised to find it was only about 26 mb. It downloaded very quickly and upon browsing I have to say this version of the PlayStation Store seems far superior.
To download it, all you have to do is go to the PlayStation Store on the menu on your PlayStation 3 like normal, and it will tell you that you need to update to use this service. Accept and enjoy your new store 🙂
