BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment America Inc today announces Code Vein, a third person action RPG that has players taking on the role of a Revenant. After finding themselves in the Vein, players must embark into the world with a companion picked from the various residents of Vein to uncover their lost memories and leave behind their new horrid reality.
In the not too distant future, a mysterious disaster has brought the world as it is now to ruin. The Thorns of Judgment have destroyed strongholds of humanity’s greatness that once scraped the sky. The center of the destruction holds the hidden society of Revenants called Vein. This final stronghold is where the remaining few fight to survive, blessed with immense power in exchange for both their memories and a thirst for blood.
The world of Code Vein is rife with vicious enemies and monstrous bosses that will put players’; combat skills to the test. Revenants also have access to Blood Veils, devices capable of draining the blood of their enemies in order to further enhance their own abilities.
These enhanced abilities are known as Gifts, and players can change their form to increase their strength, weaken enemies, and utilize new weaponry along with each character’s Gift. Players can adapt and strategize to a variety of battle conditions that fit their play styles.

Presently, Code Vein is slated for release on major home consoles in 2018.
