The folks at Devolver Digital have put out a press release for Serious Sam 3 on the Xbox Live Arcade, which is attached to a program they’re referring to as the Serious Sam 3 “Warfighter-fighter” program.
The team took a clear shot at EA’s Medal of Honor Warfighter, citing its disappointing performance on Metacritic as the game’s failure to live up to expectations. They describe Warfighter as “yet another military shooter where cover is king and most folks spend their time peeking out from behind a wall or a strategically placed concrete barrier,” the complete opposite of what Serious Sam 3 is.
“This shit is weak,” reads the no-nonsense press release.
Over the next week, the publisher will be giving away 100 free Xbox Live Arcade downloads for Serious Sam 3: BFE to gamers.
