There is definitely the good and the bad when it comes to the Nintendo Switch. For some, it pays off not being an early adopter in order to see just how the console handles after the masses had their opportunity to own a unit. Essentially, this could be thought of as a stress test period where new reports have started to emerge that could present a red flag for new potential buyers.
Most recently, Nintendo and several Switch owners were faced with a Joy-Con problem. For the most part, several gamers were affected with the left Joy-Con not connecting to the console and after several attempts to fix the issue, Nintendo came in with a solution.
By placing a specific type of foam within the Joy-Con, other devices near the console would no longer interfere with the Joy-Con connectivity. Nintendo has solved one issue, but now a new issue is starting to plague Switch owners.
Nearly a month after the Nintendo Switch has launched, gamers are starting to report that their console is cracking. More specifically, a crack is starting to appear near the Power button and it’s slowly starting to show for other owners as well.
The report came in through Reddit where user Chiablo took pictures of the crack. Stating that the console was never abused in any way, the only conclusion some gamers are starting to have is that the overtightening of screws have started to put too much stress on the enclosure.
Again, it’s slowly starting to show for some gamers as new reports and comments about their console also facing a similar crack within the subreddit post. For now, Nintendo has yet to make any official statement regarding the crack issue.
