We’ve known that Star Wars Battlefront 2 is in the works. This has not been a secret of EA and DICE as both reported bits of information regarding the sequel for quite some time now. While the original reboot of Star Wars Battlefront was not necessarily a highly praised title from gamers, the development team is once again going back and fixing up a few things for their sequel release such as adding a full campaign.
As mentioned, it’s been known that the sequel of Star Wars Battlefront was in the works, though the game has yet to receive an official announcement. That’s going to change next month as EA revealed through a post that Star Wars Battlefront 2 will be unveiled at a panel during Star Wars Celebration.
If you’re unfamiliar with Star Wars Celebration, this is an event for fans of the iconic franchise to gather. There are costumes, exhibits, show floors, screenings, exclusive merchandise, celebrity guests, panels, autograph sessions and more.
The event takes place on April 13-16, 2017, in Orlando, Florida. If you can’t make the event, then there will be streams of panels at the official Star Wars Celebration website. This will allow gamers who are interested in the upcoming Star Wars Battlefront sequel a means to watch the official reveal.
Likewise, you can catch some of the other panels being featured at the event such as a special tribute to Star Wars, a panel with Brad Hudson, along with a fashion panel to show how mainstream Star Wars clothing has become.
