Mission: Into the Abyss

Mission: Into the Abyss – Part 1

  • Pilot Helmet #10: In the first large open cavern you drop into, look along the right wall (to the right of the center island) for a small dark alcove containing this collectible. Exit BT to grab it.
  • Pilot Helmet #11: Along the left wall, there’s a large jagged crack directly left of the center island in the very same chamber. Use your Pilot to get through the hole, and look on the jutting rock covered in plantlife on your right.
  • Pilot Helmet #12: At the long, tracked hallway path where objects are being carted around in metal frames, there’s a ledge overlooking the cavern interior on the left. At the end of this hall, there’s a passage straight ahead — to the left there’s a more narrow path. Go here, and exit BT — use thee white pillars to reach the block pipes built into the rocks. Get ontop of the pipes and follow them around the corner on the left to get this well-hidden helmet.
  • Pilot Helmet #13: In the room with the loading bay (where you’ll find a Brute loadout) exit BT on the landing pad. To the right of the parked flyer, look down into the abyss to spot a massive black pipe. Jump down onto the pipe to look beneath the landing pad — the Pilot Helmet is found there. Wall-run on the pipe, double-jump, and wall-run on the landing pad pillars to reach it.

Mission: Into the Abyss – Part 2

  • Pilot Helmet #14: In the area where you lose contact with BT, look to the right before you cross a pipe bridge early in the mission. The Pilot Helmet is on a jagged rock. Use the large vertical pipe to wall-run and reach this collectible.
  • Pilot Helmet #15: In the area with the large pallets with grass planted on the slate, ride the platform and look left for an area with lots of catwalks. Jump onto the catwalks, and run up the path to the right. Continue up, following the diagonal concrete wall to a loading area with large blue containers. From on top of the blue containers, turn to see the pipes with the collectible. Wall-run near the ceiling to reach this spot.
  • Pilot Helmet #16: Continuing to ride the platform, the piece will connect to the rest of the side-ways structure. Climb up and out, then jump onto the diagonal structure that’s mounted against the wall. Once you reach the catwalks, run across the rock wall to get to the collectible.

Mission: Into the Abyss – Part 3

  • Pilot Helmet #17: Leaving the dome, you’ll enter a massive chamber with three black cylinders. The Pilot Helmet is clearly visible on the middle cylinder. Use the switch to reveal the platforms, and simply climb the new ledges to to reach the floating helmet.
  • Pilot Helmet #18: Using the moving walls to cross the chasm and return to BT, look to the right before entering the battlefield. It’s on a rock on the edge of the chasm.
