July may not have seemed like a “big month for gaming” at first, but you will be surprised at all the titles that came out. We’ll break it down for you. Oh, and these aren’t in any particular order. Instead take these games as some recommendations of what you might want to check into.
#10 Sea of Thieves: The Legend of Monkey Island
How’s this for a crossover? Rare’s pirating game has gone far above and beyond what anyone would’ve expected of it before. But now, with Sea of Thieves: The Legend of Monkey Island, you will get even more than you bargained for.
In the title, you’ll get not one but three different “Tall Tales” to partake in that’ll have you exploring the legendary Monkey Island and the characters that are forever attached to it.
For example, in the first tall tale, you’ll go on a hunt for Guybrush Threepwood, who has vanished after sailing into your familiar waters. What happened to him? What led him to your waters? Jump in and find out!
#9 F1 Manager 2023
Many people dream of being behind the wheel of an F1 racer because of the speed and power at their fingertips. But there is more to F1 than just driving the car. In F1 Manager 2023, you’ll be the man behind the whole team! It’ll be your job to overcome the odds and ensure your squad is fully equipped for everything that happens in the 2023 season.
You’ll faithfully re-enact every race from the season and see how your methods, tactics, and driving skills affect your placement in each race. If something doesn’t work, change it or try to improve it. It’s your job to make things happen. So do it!
#8 Oxenfree 2: Lost Signals
It seems like Riley Poverly can’t catch a break. After expressing the danger of other worlds before, she’s now forced to come back home when certain “signals” are interfering with life there. But what happens next will be entirely up to her.
Oxenfree 2: Lost Signals prides itself on the freedom to shape the story both by what you do and what you don’t do. Whether it’s whom you choose to talk to or not talk to and how you deal with the supernatural that is everywhere, your choices affect what comes next.
But most importantly, you must find out the truth of what’s going on here and, hopefully, find a way to stop them for good.
#7 Remnant 2
If you’re ready for a struggle and a fight to save both humanity and all of existence, then get ready for Remnant 2! The game follows up the hit co-op/shooting title by taking things to the next level in more ways than one.
You’ll pick the character you want to be, and then as you travel across many worlds, you’ll get to upgrade them to act how you desire! Will you be an unstoppable tank that can heal itself? Will you be someone who can take out enemies from afar before they can reach you? Or will you be something even more intimidating?
Play alone or with friends in this intense adventure!
#6 Jagged Alliance 3
Welcome to the nation of Grand Chien. It is a place of plentiful bounty and great unrest within its political powers. Things are turned upside down when the nation’s President goes missing, and a group known as “The Legion” takes over in his absence.
To get control of their country and find the President, his family pulls together a ragtag team of mercenaries to scour the nation, find their leader, and bring peace back to the nation.
You’ll command these forces in intense battles and do your best to lead them to victory. Play your way to gain money, power, allies, and more.
#5 Exoprimal
Capcom has been one of a few developers who have honestly been on fire during 2023. They’ve released a set of titles that have been doing well sales-wise, and Exoprimal is one of them. Granted, it is still a wild property to play, but clearly, someone likes it!
In the game, you’ll be in a future where dinosaurs of the past are being portaled to you, and they threaten all of humanity. Through the main story and multiple gameplay modes, you’ll defeat the swarms with your custom mech armor and figure out who is behind all this madness.
You can play the game alone or team up with friends to see how well you can last against the dino hordes.
#4 Pikmin 4
After basically a decade away from Nintendo consoles, the Pikmin are back! But this time around, they’ll be facing an all-new adventure with an all-new protagonist: you!
That’s right! In Pikmin 4, you’ll create your own protagonist as you’re the newest member of the Rescue Corps. Your mission is simple. You’ll go to a mysterious planet where Captain Olimar and other Rescue Corps members have crash-landed, and then you’ll go save them! Yeah, simple.
Of course, there are plenty of monsters, puzzles, and obstacles you’ll have to get through. Oh, and your ship is busted, so you’ll need to fix it, too.
Hmm, perhaps it’s not so simple an adventure.
#3 My Friendly Neighborhood
Welcome to the puppet-filled world of My Friendly Neighborhood! The popular TV show was all about special adventures starring puppets, and it was a great hit! But then, time passed, and the show was eventually canceled.
However, years later, the station that broadcasted the show returned to life and started a new broadcast with a much darker tone. The city sends you to fix the problem, but your problems are just beginning!
You must work your way through the crazy misadventures that lie in store within this studio. You’ll fight puppets, solve puzzles, and more! What is the truth that lies at the heart of this madness? You might be surprised at what that answer is.
#2 The Expanse: A Telltale Series
Telltale Games is back, and they decided to take their unique brand of storytelling to the world of sci-fi once again, but this time, with a certain hit Syfy show! In The Expanse: A Telltale Series, you’ll play Carmina Drummer before her adventures in Season 1 of the show. She’s on board The Artemis exploring The Belt when everything falls apart.
Through her perspective, you’ll need to make choices to save yourself, your crew, and the galaxy. But since your choices matter, you’ll need to be precise with your judgments, and quick on the uptake. Will you be able to survive the harsh times that are coming?

It’s time for the classic duo of Ratchet & Clank to return! But this time, they’re going to go hopping through dimensions!
In Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, a battle with a classic foe leads them to a dimension where the two never met! Now they must work together with a new Lombax to save the day and two universes to boot!
Everything you loved about the past games is here, but with even more insane weapons and cool abilities to use! Plus, thanks to the PS5, the franchise has never looked better, even though you’re playing it on the PC this time. Just saying.
