Kamisato Ayaka’s Constellation is the Grus Nivis, which is Latin for Snow-White Crane. Her Constellation focuses on enhancing everything about Ayaka that works. And then C4 happens and takes it to another level.

Overall, Ayaka is the best Cryo Main DPS, even at C0. In fact, you can keep her at C0 and get some great results. This makes her a good entry point for new players since you really don’t have to whale on Ayaka to make her good. But if you already have Ayaka and want to make her even better, C4 is her best Constellation. If you can’t get that far with the time left on her banner, you can stop at C2.
C1 – Snowswept Sakura
When Ayaka’s Normal Attacks deal Cryo DMG to enemies, it has a 50% chance of decreasing her Elemental Skill CD by 0.3 seconds. This can occur once every 0.1 seconds.
This wants you to use Ayaka’s Alternate Sprint as much as possible. Using the Alternate Sprint is the only way to infuse Ayaka’s Normal Attacks with Cryo. Though she does much more damage through her Burst, Ayaka’s Skill is good for quick Cryo application and crowd control.
C2 – Blizzard Blade Seki no To
When casting her Elemental Burst, Ayaka will unleash 2 smaller additional Frostflake Seki no To. Each one deals 20% of the original storm’s DMG.
This is great against Normal Bosses and Trounce Bosses since the Frostflakes will target an enemy until it’s defeated or the Frostflake duration ends, whichever occurs first. Essentially, you’ll get some more passive DMG out of Ayaka.
Since the 2 smaller Frostflakes scale their DMG off of the big one, their DMG will be affected by Ayaka’s Elemental Burst Talent. If you do have C2 Ayaka, you need to prioritize leveling up her Elemental Burst Talent over her Normal Attack and Elemental Skill Talents.
C3 – Frostbloom Kamifubuki
Upon activation, Ayaka’s Elemental Burst – Kamisato Art: Soumetsu – gains 3 levels. Its maximum upgrade level becomes 15.
C4 – Ebb and Flow
Enemies damaged by the Frostflake Seki no To will have their DEF decreased by 30% for 6 seconds.
This is Ayaka’s best Constellation because it doesn’t just affect her. The debuff doesn’t clear if Ayaka leaves the field. So by inflicting the 30% debuff on enemies, other team members can take advantage of those 6 seconds too. This is great for any Reaction damage you may cause, such as Superconduct or Melt.
C5 – Blossom Cloud Irutsuki
Upon activation, Ayaka’s Elemental Skill – Kamisato Art: Hyouka – gains 3 levels. Its maximum upgrade level becomes 15.
C6 – Dance of Suigetsu
Ayaka gains Usurahi Butou every 10 seconds. This increases her Charged Attack DMG by 298%. The buff clears 0.5 seconds after Ayaka’s Charged Attack hits an enemy. After this, the 10-second timer for Usurahi Butou will restart.
This is probably the least exciting of the Constellations, but that is a massive DMG bonus. However, if you try to take advantage of this and C1 at the same time, you really need to watch Ayaka’s Stamina consumption.
