The Portal Gun mod is a simple mod that really only adds one item but it’s one that definitely alters how players enjoy Minecraft. You’ve likely heard of the video game series, Portal by developers Valve Corporation. Within Portal, players are tasked with completing complex puzzles while using a gun that will create portals in order to bypass obstacles. With this mod, the creator tossed in the infamous Portal Gun that acts the exact same as the original Valve title. Reach the top of a mountain without hopping up each block or bypass the fall damage, the Portal Gun has plenty of uses within Minecraft.
