We’ve seen a few video games based around Conan the Barbarian before and not all of them have been a great success. However, Conan Exiles makes our list for one of the top upcoming open world titles releasing this year. From developers Funcom, Conan Exiles is an upcoming survival title filled with bloodthirsty battles and decapitations, after all, what did you expect, it is a Conan the Barbarian game.
According to developers, Conan Exiles starts players out as being one of the thousands exiled into the unforgiving wasteland. Wasting away, your first few battles will be one of surviving the natural elements such as gathering water and food. Once players are capable, they can venture out and wage war against enemies, reaping their loot and becoming a feared target among men. For now, Conan Exiles will release starting this summer for PC as an Early Access title with a full launch set to follow after.
