Venti was one of Genshin Impact’s first limited time characters and two years later, it’s starting to show. Much like Venti and dandelion wine, you need to go big or go home. Either keep Venti at C0 or go for C6.

C6 provides the best effects, with C2 truly coming in second. However, unless you’re planning on getting Venti to C2 or C6, you should stop pulling for him when you get him. Only going for C1, especially if you want to try to get both Venti and Cyno, is a waste of your Primogems and your Pity. If you only plan on using Venti for his Elemental Burst, you really don’t have to go beyond C0.
C1 – Splitting Gales
Venti will fire two additional arrows per Aimed Shot. Each arrow deals 33% of the original arrow’s DMG. This allows Venti to fire three arrows at once – the arrow does not bloom or separate like Ganyu’s. The three arrows will be fired off in a horizontal line, think of the Hilichurl archers that can fire three arrows at a time.
Unfortunately, C1 is the least helpful of all the Constellations. While it allows room for Venti to start entering Main DPS territory, it doesn’t quite get him there yet.
C2 – Breeze of Reminiscence
Skyward Sonnet decreases enemy Anemo RES by 12% for 10 seconds. Any enemies launched into the air by Skyward Sonnet suffer an additional 12% Anemo RES and Physical RES debuff while they are airborne. Essentially, this adds some fun things to VentI’s Elemental Skill – which allows
C3 – Ode to Thousand Winds
Upon activation, Wind’s Grand Ode gains 3 Talent Levels. Its maximum upgrade level becomes 15.
C4 – Hurricane of Freedom
When Venti picks up an Elemental Orb or Particle, his Anemo DMG increases by 25% for 10 seconds. This can be good for players who constantly swap between party members to use as many Elemental Skills together as possible. Timing would be key here. Most likely, your goal would be to cycle through your Skills, then let Venti go last so both his Skill and Burst get the damage boost. However, as mentioned before, you should go big or go home with Venti. If you get this far, go all the way.
C5 – Concerto dal Cielo
Upon activation, Skyward Sonnet gains 3 Talent Levels. Its maximum upgrade level becomes 15.
C6 – Storm of Defiance
Wind’s Grand Ode decreases the Anemo RES of any afflicted targets by 20%. If an Elemental Absorption occurred, then targets’ RES towards the corresponding Element will also be decreased 20%. So if Wind’s Grand Ode absorbs Electro, then a hilichurl caught in the madness will have its Anemo RES and Electro RES decreased by 20%.
If you were impressed with Venti’s abilities in his trial, C6 puts him on another level. This is such a good debuff and takes Venti’s Sub-DPS build even further beyond. If you do C6 Venti, focus everything on his Elemental Burst.
