MultiVersus: Best Finn Builds | Perks Guide

July 28, 2022 by Kevin Thielenhaus

Mathematical!

Finn is a tricky character to get a handle on. Finn doesn’t do extreme damage and can get knocked back pretty easily — but with the right perks, you’ll start crushing opponents in 1v1 or 2v2. There is no “best” build that you can use for all occasions. These are just the perks we’ve been running with — whether you want to move faster, jump higher, or deal more damage, these are the best Finn builds we’ve found so far in the Open Beta.

In MultiVersus, every character can equip four perks. The minor perks are what we’re after here — you can equip three perks that can give you huge boosts. Just make sure to build in your preferred gameplay style. If you like dodging and weaving through enemies, boost your dodge with perks. If you want to deal a little more damage to overcome Assassin type characters, do that — and if you just want to stay in the air longer, you can do that too with handy jump height perks. We’ll share some of our favorite combinations of perks below, and you’ll want to experiment before settling on a single set of perks to choose from.

Best Builds | Finn The Human

Finn The Human is an Adventure Time character and joins Jake The Dog as a playable hero. Finn is an Assassin, making him extremely agile, good at juggling mid-air, and weaker in defense. He’s a Glass Cannon, and he won’t survive for long without good perks.

  • Beginner Damage Build:
    • Wildcat Brawler: Offense – +5% damage with melee attacks on the ground.
    • Snowball Effect: Offense – +7% damage against the fighter with the most DMG.
    • Kryptonian Skin: Defense: -4% reduced damage.

A very simple beginner build that doesn’t require any extra skill to use. Attack on the ground, hit the fighter that’s built up the most damage, and take less damage. No tricks here.

  • Power Juggler Build:
    • Triple Jump: Utility – Gain an extra jump after hitting an enemy mid-air.
    • Lumpy Space Punch: Offense – +5% damage increase to melee damage in the air.
    • Snowball Effect: Offense – +7% damage against the fighter with the most DMG.

Get that extra triple jump, and you’ll be juggling enemies for even longer. With these perks, focus on air-combos and targeting the weakest opponent to bring them down faster. With this combo, you’ll be dealing +12% damage while air-combing the most damaged enemy.

  • Dodging Champ Build:
    • Fancy Footwork: Utility – +5% increased dodge distance.
    • Hit Me If You’re Able: Utility – +5% increased dodge speed.
    • Speed Force Assist: Utility – +4% increased movement speed.

Finn is fast, but what if he was faster? Dodge is one of your most powerful skills, so dodging faster and longer can make all the difference. Even that boost in movement speed makes you zippier. Enough to avoid taking too much damag
