The launch of Fortnite Chapter 3: Season 3 introduced Darth Vader to the battle pass. The latest update has taken this crossover even further by adding Darth Vader to the map as a boss. This guide will show you where to find Darth Vader in Fortnite and how to defeat him to acquire his mythic Lightsaber.
Darth Vader will spawn at a random place on the island at the start of every match, but that doesn’t mean he is impossible to find. While you are on board the battle bus, you will see a spaceship fly past you. All you have to do is jump out of the Battle Bus and follow the spaceship. Also, a blue light will shine to mark where the spaceship has landed, so it shouldn’t be too difficult to follow.
When you land, you will see Darth Vader and two Stormtroopers who are all ready to attack you. Don’t forget that there will probably be enemy players who have the same idea as you and you will have to fight them off to get your hands on the mythic weapon. Therefore, make sure you grab some loot from nearby chests.

How to defeat Darth Vader and the Stormtroopers in Fortnite
Taking down Darth Vader and two Stormtroopers will not be an easy task. The best way to take on this fight is to defeat a Stormtrooper first. By doing so, you will be able to pick up their E-11 Blaster Rifle. This weapon has unlimited ammunition which means you can constantly spray the powerful laser gun at Darth Vader. Make sure you have access to some cover if you need to heal yourself from Darth Vader’s deadly attacks.
Defeating Darth Vader in Fortnite will allow you to take his Lightsaber which has multiple uses. Apart from being able to deal melee damage, you can use it to block enemy bullets. In addition, you can throw the Lightsaber to hit an enemy at range. It is definitely worth spending the time and effort needed to add this weapon to your inventory.
