#2 Destiny: The Taken King
Destiny had a bit of a rocky start when it first released but now with the latest expansion known as The Taken King, gamers will have a whole new story campaign expansion to work through. Destiny: The Taken King follows the Taken King Oryx who is none too pleased with the death of his son Crota. Players will have to battle against the newly formed army known as the “Taken” while also having the option to partake in three brand new multiplayer Strike missions. It’s also worth noting that Destiny received a patch that coincided with the release of The Taken King expansion.
The version 2.0 patch marked Destiny’s year two lifecycle where it tweaked some of the core gameplay. For instance, actor Peter Dinklage had his dialogue removed from the player’s Ghost along with the light levels being taken out. Select weapons were also tweaked to represent new values while a progress tab was added into the menu to showcase players character progression. Destiny: The Taken King is available right now for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.
