Getting Something New in the Postmaster
A little green symbol by the Tower usually means the Postmaster has something special waiting for you. Packages can include Strange Coins and Motes of Light, used for buying exotics from Xur, weapons, armour, or engrams.
You can also pick up raw upgrade materials and faction reputation. The postmaster will also pick up certain engrams you may have left behind during your last mission.
