When You Perform a Vanguard Streak During a Strike Playlist
The Taken King has overhauled the Vanguard Streak buff to increase your Vanguard reputation and the likelihood of you earning legendary engrams by defeating strike bosses. Vanguard Streaks were present in the base game but didn’t really do much, so like many other things in Destiny, the new expansion offers a significant improvement here too.
To earn a Vanguard Streak, play through a strike playlist without exiting to orbit or (hopefully) encountering any network errors.
