There are 14 main quest missions in Horizon Forbidden West, one of which is the mandatory tutorial that opens the game. The mission list is as follows:

It’s worth pointing out that not all the missions required for beating the game’s story are listed as “Main Quest.” At select points in the Forbidden West‘s story, the player will be forced into a handful of “Interludes” that primarily serve as downtime between big action missions where a lot of exposition is given and Aloy has the chance to catch up with her friends.
